DELIVERANCE FROM ALL PERSECUTORS

PHIL 3:1-3

  • FINALLY, MY BRETHREN, REJOICE IN THE LORD. TO WRITE THE SAME THINGS TO YOU, TO ME INDEED IS NOT GRIEVOUS, BUT FOR YOU IT IS SAFE.2  BEWARE OF DOGS, BEWARE OF EVIL WORKERS, BEWARE OF THE CONCISION.3  FOR WE ARE THE CIRCUMCISION, WHICH WORSHIP GOD IN THE SPIRIT, AND REJOICE IN CHRIST JESUS, AND HAVE NO CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH.
  • TITUS 1:9-16
  • HOLDING FAST THE FAITHFUL WORD AS HE HATH BEEN TAUGHT, THAT HE MAY BE ABLE BY SOUND DOCTRINE BOTH TO EXHORT AND TO CONVINCE THE GAINSAYERS.
  • 10  FOR THERE ARE MANY UNRULY AND VAIN TALKERS AND DECEIVERS, SPECIALLY THEY OF THE CIRCUMCISION:
  • 11 WHOSE MOUTHS MUST BE STOPPED, WHO SUBVERT WHOLE HOUSES, TEACHING THINGS WHICH THEY OUGHT NOT, FOR FILTHY LUCRE’S SAKE.
  • 12 ONE OF THEMSELVES, EVEN A PROPHET OF THEIR OWN, SAID, THE CRETIANS ARE ALWAY LIARS, EVIL BEASTS, SLOW BELLIES.
  • 13 THIS WITNESS IS TRUE. WHEREFORE REBUKE THEM SHARPLY, THAT THEY MAY BE SOUND IN THE FAITH;
  • 14 NOT GIVING HEED TO JEWISH FABLES, AND COMMANDMENTS OF MEN, THAT TURN FROM THE TRUTH.
  • 15 UNTO THE PURE ALL THINGS ARE PURE: BUT UNTO THEM THAT ARE DEFILED AND UNBELIEVING IS NOTHING PURE; BUT EVEN THEIR MIND AND CONSCIENCE IS DEFILED.
  • 16 THEY PROFESS THAT THEY KNOW GOD; BUT IN WORKS THEY DENY HIM, BEING ABOMINABLE, AND DISOBEDIENT, AND UNTO EVERY GOOD WORK REPROBATE.
  • 2 TIM,2:23-25
  • 22 FLEE ALSO YOUTHFUL LUSTS: BUT FOLLOW RIGHTEOUSNESS, FAITH, CHARITY, PEACE, WITH THEM THAT CALL ON THE LORD OUT OF A PURE HEART.
  • 23 BUT FOOLISH AND UNLEARNED QUESTIONS AVOID, KNOWING THAT THEY DO GENDER STRIFES.
  • 24  AND THE SERVANT OF THE LORD MUST NOT STRIVE; BUT BE GENTLE UNTO ALL MEN, APT TO TEACH, PATIENT,
  • 25  IN MEEKNESS INSTRUCTING THOSE THAT OPPOSE THEMSELVES; IF GOD PERADVENTURE WILL GIVE THEM REPENTANCE TO THE ACKNOWLEDGING OF THE TRUTH;
  • 26  AND THAT THEY MAY RECOVER THEMSELVES OUT OF THE SNARE OF THE DEVIL, WHO ARE TAKEN CAPTIVE BY HIM AT HIS WILL
  • 2 TIM 4:18
  • ALEXANDER THE COPPERSMITH DID ME MUCH EVIL: THE LORD REWARD HIM ACCORDING TO HIS WORKS:
  • 15 OF WHOM BE THOU WARE ALSO; FOR HE HATH GREATLY WITHSTOOD OUR WORDS.
  • 16 AT MY FIRST ANSWER NO MAN STOOD WITH ME, BUT ALL MEN FORSOOK ME: I PRAY GOD THAT IT MAY NOT BE LAID TO THEIR CHARGE.
  • 17 NOTWITHSTANDING THE LORD STOOD WITH ME, AND STRENGTHENED ME; THAT BY ME THE PREACHING MIGHT BE FULLY KNOWN, AND THAT ALL THE GENTILES MIGHT HEAR: AND I WAS DELIVERED OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE LION.
  • 18 AND THE LORD SHALL DELIVER ME FROM EVERY EVIL WORK, AND WILL PRESERVE ME UNTO HIS HEAVENLY KINGDOM: TO WHOM BE GLORY FOR EVER AND EVER. AMEN.

ACTS 12:1-11;  18-23

  • NOW ABOUT THAT TIME HEROD THE KING STRETCHED FORTH HIS HANDS TO VEX CERTAIN OF THE CHURCH.
  • 2 AND HE KILLED JAMES THE BROTHER OF JOHN WITH THE SWORD.
  • 3 AND BECAUSE HE SAW IT PLEASED THE JEWS, HE PROCEEDED FURTHER TO TAKE PETER ALSO. (THEN WERE THE DAYS OF UNLEAVENED BREAD.)
  • 4 AND WHEN HE HAD APPREHENDED HIM, HE PUT HIM IN PRISON, AND DELIVERED HIM TO FOUR QUATERNIONS OF SOLDIERS TO KEEP HIM; INTENDING AFTER EASTER TO BRING HIM FORTH TO THE PEOPLE.
  • 5 PETER THEREFORE WAS KEPT IN PRISON: BUT PRAYER WAS MADE WITHOUT CEASING OF THE CHURCH UNTO GOD FOR HIM.
  • 6 AND WHEN HEROD WOULD HAVE BROUGHT HIM FORTH, THE SAME NIGHT PETER WAS SLEEPING BETWEEN TWO SOLDIERS, BOUND WITH TWO CHAINS: AND THE KEEPERS BEFORE THE DOOR KEPT THE PRISON.
  • 7 AND, BEHOLD, THE ANGEL OF THE LORD CAME UPON HIM, AND A LIGHT SHINED IN THE PRISON: AND HE SMOTE PETER ON THE SIDE, AND RAISED HIM UP, SAYING, ARISE UP QUICKLY. AND HIS CHAINS FELL OFF FROM HIS HANDS.
  • 8 AND THE ANGEL SAID UNTO HIM, GIRD THYSELF, AND BIND ON THY SANDALS. AND SO HE DID. AND HE SAITH UNTO HIM, CAST THY GARMENT ABOUT THEE, AND FOLLOW ME.
  • 9 AND HE WENT OUT, AND FOLLOWED HIM; AND WIST NOT THAT IT WAS TRUE WHICH WAS DONE BY THE ANGEL; BUT THOUGHT HE SAW A VISION.
  • 10  WHEN THEY WERE PAST THE FIRST AND THE SECOND WARD, THEY CAME UNTO THE IRON GATE THAT LEADETH UNTO THE CITY; WHICH OPENED TO THEM OF HIS OWN ACCORD: AND THEY WENT OUT, AND PASSED ON THROUGH ONE STREET; AND FORTHWITH THE ANGEL DEPARTED FROM HIM.
  • 11  AND WHEN PETER WAS COME TO HIMSELF, HE SAID, NOW I KNOW OF A SURETY, THAT THE LORD HATH SENT HIS ANGEL, AND HATH DELIVERED ME OUT OF THE HAND OF HEROD, AND FROM ALL THE EXPECTATION OF THE PEOPLE OF THE JEWS……………………..NOW AS SOON AS IT WAS DAY, THERE WAS NO SMALL STIR AMONG THE SOLDIERS, WHAT WAS BECOME OF PETER.
  • 19  AND WHEN HEROD HAD SOUGHT FOR HIM, AND FOUND HIM NOT, HE EXAMINED THE KEEPERS, AND COMMANDED THAT THEY SHOULD BE PUT TO DEATH. AND HE WENT DOWN FROM JUDAEA TO CAESAREA, AND THERE ABODE.
  • 20 ¶  AND HEROD WAS HIGHLY DISPLEASED WITH THEM OF TYRE AND SIDON: BUT THEY CAME WITH ONE ACCORD TO HIM, AND, HAVING MADE BLASTUS THE KING’S CHAMBERLAIN THEIR FRIEND, DESIRED PEACE; BECAUSE THEIR COUNTRY WAS NOURISHED BY THE KING’S COUNTRY.
  • 21  AND UPON A SET DAY HEROD, ARRAYED IN ROYAL APPAREL, SAT UPON HIS THRONE, AND MADE AN ORATION UNTO THEM.
  • 22  AND THE PEOPLE GAVE A SHOUT, SAYING, IT IS THE VOICE OF A GOD, AND NOT OF A MAN.
  • 23  AND IMMEDIATELY THE ANGEL OF THE LORD SMOTE HIM, BECAUSE HE GAVE NOT GOD THE GLORY: AND HE WAS EATEN OF WORMS, AND GAVE UP THE GHOST.
  • 24  BUT THE WORD OF GOD GREW AND MULTIPLIED.
  • HEB 12 :8-END   APPROACHING THE COURT OF HEAVEN
  • FOR YE ARE NOT COME UNTO THE MOUNT THAT MIGHT BE TOUCHED, AND THAT BURNED WITH FIRE, NOR UNTO BLACKNESS, AND DARKNESS, AND TEMPEST,
  • 19  AND THE SOUND OF A TRUMPET, AND THE VOICE OF WORDS; WHICH VOICE THEY THAT HEARD INTREATED THAT THE WORD SHOULD NOT BE SPOKEN TO THEM ANY MORE:
  • 20  (FOR THEY COULD NOT ENDURE THAT WHICH WAS COMMANDED, AND IF SO MUCH AS A BEAST TOUCH THE MOUNTAIN, IT SHALL BE STONED, OR THRUST THROUGH WITH A DART:
  • 21  AND SO TERRIBLE WAS THE SIGHT, THAT MOSES SAID, I EXCEEDINGLY FEAR AND QUAKE:)
  • 22  BUT YE ARE COME UNTO MOUNT SION, AND UNTO THE CITY OF THE LIVING GOD, THE HEAVENLY JERUSALEM, AND TO AN INNUMERABLE COMPANY OF ANGELS,
  • 23  TO THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND CHURCH OF THE FIRSTBORN, WHICH ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN, AND TO GOD THE JUDGE OF ALL, AND TO THE SPIRITS OF JUST MEN MADE PERFECT,
  • 24  AND TO JESUS THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT, AND TO THE BLOOD OF SPRINKLING, THAT SPEAKETH BETTER THINGS THAN THAT OF ABEL.
  • 25  SEE THAT YE REFUSE NOT HIM THAT SPEAKETH. FOR IF THEY ESCAPED NOT WHO REFUSED HIM THAT SPAKE ON EARTH, MUCH MORE SHALL NOT WE ESCAPE, IF WE TURN AWAY FROM HIM THAT SPEAKETH FROM HEAVEN:
  • 26  WHOSE VOICE THEN SHOOK THE EARTH: BUT NOW HE HATH PROMISED, SAYING, YET ONCE MORE I SHAKE NOT THE EARTH ONLY, BUT ALSO HEAVEN.
  • 27  AND THIS WORD, YET ONCE MORE, SIGNIFIETH THE REMOVING OF THOSE THINGS THAT ARE SHAKEN, AS OF THINGS THAT ARE MADE, THAT THOSE THINGS WHICH CANNOT BE SHAKEN MAY REMAIN.
  • WHEREFORE WE RECEIVING A KINGDOM WHICH CANNOT BE MOVED, LET US HAVE GRACE, WHEREBY WE MAY SERVE GOD ACCEPTABLY WITH REVERENCE AND GODLY FEAR:
  • 29  FOR OUR GOD IS A CONSUMING FIRE.
  • LET US PRAY
  • PRAISES
  • THE LORD’S PRAYER MATHEW  6: 9-13

PSALM 7

  • O LORD MY GOD, IN THEE DO I PUT MY TRUST: SAVE ME FROM ALL THEM THAT PERSECUTE ME, AND DELIVER ME:
  • 2  LEST HE TEAR MY SOUL LIKE A LION, RENDING IT IN PIECES, WHILE THERE IS NONE TO DELIVER.
  • 3  O LORD MY GOD, IF I HAVE DONE THIS; IF THERE BE INIQUITY IN MY HANDS;
  • 4  IF I HAVE REWARDED EVIL UNTO HIM THAT WAS AT PEACE WITH ME; (YEA, I HAVE DELIVERED HIM THAT WITHOUT CAUSE IS MINE ENEMY:)
  • 5  LET THE ENEMY PERSECUTE MY SOUL, AND TAKE IT; YEA, LET HIM TREAD DOWN MY LIFE UPON THE EARTH, AND LAY MINE HONOUR IN THE DUST. SELAH.
  • 6 ARISE, O LORD, IN THINE ANGER, LIFT UP THYSELF BECAUSE OF THE RAGE OF MINE ENEMIES: AND AWAKE FOR ME TO THE JUDGMENT THAT THOU HAST COMMANDED.
  • 7 SO SHALL THE CONGREGATION OF THE PEOPLE COMPASS THEE ABOUT: FOR THEIR SAKES THEREFORE RETURN THOU ON HIGH.
  • 8 THE LORD SHALL JUDGE THE PEOPLE: JUDGE ME, O LORD, ACCORDING TO MY RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND ACCORDING TO MINE INTEGRITY THAT IS IN ME.
  • 9 OH LET THE WICKEDNESS OF THE WICKED COME TO AN END; BUT ESTABLISH THE JUST: FOR THE RIGHTEOUS GOD TRIETH THE HEARTS AND REINS.
  • 10 MY DEFENCE IS OF GOD, WHICH SAVETH THE UPRIGHT IN HEART.
  • 11 GOD JUDGETH THE RIGHTEOUS, AND GOD IS ANGRY WITH THE WICKED EVERY DAY.
  • 12 IF HE TURN NOT, HE WILL WHET HIS SWORD; HE HATH BENT HIS BOW, AND MADE IT READY.
  • 13 HE HATH ALSO PREPARED FOR HIM THE INSTRUMENTS OF DEATH; HE ORDAINETH HIS ARROWS AGAINST THE PERSECUTORS.
  • 14 BEHOLD, HE TRAVAILETH WITH INIQUITY, AND HATH CONCEIVED MISCHIEF, AND BROUGHT FORTH FALSEHOOD.
  • 15 HE MADE A PIT, AND DIGGED IT, AND IS FALLEN INTO THE DITCH WHICH HE MADE.
  • 16 HIS MISCHIEF SHALL RETURN UPON HIS OWN HEAD, AND HIS VIOLENT DEALING SHALL COME DOWN UPON HIS OWN PATE.
  • 17 I WILL PRAISE THE LORD ACCORDING TO HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS: AND WILL SING PRAISE TO THE NAME OF THE LORD MOST HIGH.
  • BALAM’S EFFORTS : NUMBERS 23:1-12;NUMBERS 23:13-30; NUMBERS 24:1-10
  • NUMBERS 24;14-24  BALAM ENDED UP  CURSING  MOAB
  • ACTS 5;29-40 GAMALIEL
  • 29 THEN PETER AND THE OTHER APOSTLES ANSWERED AND SAID, WE OUGHT TO OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN.
  • 30 THE GOD OF OUR FATHERS RAISED UP JESUS, WHOM YE SLEW AND HANGED ON A TREE.
  • 31 HIM HATH GOD EXALTED WITH HIS RIGHT HAND TO BE A PRINCE AND A SAVIOUR, FOR TO GIVE REPENTANCE TO ISRAEL, AND FORGIVENESS OF SINS.
  • 32 AND WE ARE HIS WITNESSES OF THESE THINGS; AND SO IS ALSO THE HOLY GHOST, WHOM GOD HATH GIVEN TO THEM THAT OBEY HIM.
  • 33 WHEN THEY HEARD THAT, THEY WERE CUT TO THE HEART, AND TOOK COUNSEL TO SLAY THEM.
  • 34  THEN STOOD THERE UP ONE IN THE COUNCIL, A PHARISEE, NAMED GAMALIEL, A DOCTOR OF THE LAW, HAD IN REPUTATION AMONG ALL THE PEOPLE, AND COMMANDED TO PUT THE APOSTLES FORTH A LITTLE SPACE;
  • 35 AND SAID UNTO THEM, YE MEN OF ISRAEL, TAKE HEED TO YOURSELVES WHAT YE INTEND TO DO AS TOUCHING THESE MEN.
  • 36 FOR BEFORE THESE DAYS ROSE UP THEUDAS, BOASTING HIMSELF TO BE SOMEBODY; TO WHOM A NUMBER OF MEN, ABOUT FOUR HUNDRED, JOINED THEMSELVES: WHO WAS SLAIN; AND ALL, AS MANY AS OBEYED HIM, WERE SCATTERED, AND BROUGHT TO NOUGHT.
  • 37 AFTER THIS MAN ROSE UP JUDAS OF GALILEE IN THE DAYS OF THE TAXING, AND DREW AWAY MUCH PEOPLE AFTER HIM: HE ALSO PERISHED; AND ALL, EVEN AS MANY AS OBEYED HIM, WERE DISPERSED.
  • 38  AND NOW I SAY UNTO YOU, REFRAIN FROM THESE MEN, AND LET THEM ALONE: FOR IF THIS COUNSEL OR THIS WORK BE OF MEN, IT WILL COME TO NOUGHT:
  • 39 BUT IF IT BE OF GOD, YE CANNOT OVERTHROW IT; LEST HAPLY YE BE FOUND EVEN TO FIGHT AGAINST GOD.
  • 40 AND TO HIM THEY AGREED: AND WHEN THEY HAD CALLED THE APOSTLES, AND BEATEN THEM, THEY COMMANDED THAT THEY SHOULD NOT SPEAK IN THE NAME OF JESUS, AND LET THEM GO.
  • REV 3:8-13 MY PERSONAL ANCHOR FOR NAMIBIA
  • I KNOW THY WORKS: BEHOLD, I HAVE SET BEFORE THEE AN OPEN DOOR, AND NO MAN CAN SHUT IT: FOR THOU HAST A LITTLE STRENGTH, AND HAST KEPT MY WORD, AND HAST NOT DENIED MY NAME.
  • 9 BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE THEM OF THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN, WHICH SAY THEY ARE JEWS, AND ARE NOT, BUT DO LIE; BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE THEM TO COME AND WORSHIP BEFORE THY FEET, AND TO KNOW THAT I HAVE LOVED THEE.
  • 10 BECAUSE THOU HAST KEPT THE WORD OF MY PATIENCE, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, WHICH SHALL COME UPON ALL THE WORLD, TO TRY THEM THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH.
  • 11 BEHOLD, I COME QUICKLY: HOLD THAT FAST WHICH THOU HAST, THAT NO MAN TAKE THY CROWN.
  • 12 HIM THAT OVERCOMETH WILL I MAKE A PILLAR IN THE TEMPLE OF MY GOD, AND HE SHALL GO NO MORE OUT: AND I WILL WRITE UPON HIM THE NAME OF MY GOD, AND THE NAME OF THE CITY OF MY GOD, WHICH IS NEW JERUSALEM, WHICH COMETH DOWN OUT OF HEAVEN FROM MY GOD: AND I WILL WRITE UPON HIM MY NEW NAME.
  • 13 HE THAT HATH AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR WHAT THE SPIRIT SAITH UNTO THE CHURCHES.

ANCHOR   2021 ZEPHANIAH 3:13-20

  • THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL SHALL NOT DO INIQUITY, NOR SPEAK LIES; NEITHER SHALL A DECEITFUL TONGUE BE FOUND IN THEIR MOUTH: FOR THEY SHALL FEED AND LIE DOWN, AND NONE SHALL MAKE THEM AFRAID.
  • 14  SING, O DAUGHTER OF ZION; SHOUT, O ISRAEL; BE GLAD AND REJOICE WITH ALL THE HEART, O DAUGHTER OF JERUSALEM.
  • 15 THE LORD HATH TAKEN AWAY THY JUDGMENTS, HE HATH CAST OUT THINE ENEMY: THE KING OF ISRAEL, EVEN THE LORD, IS IN THE MIDST OF THEE: THOU SHALT NOT SEE EVIL ANY MORE.
  • 16 IN THAT DAY IT SHALL BE SAID TO JERUSALEM, FEAR THOU NOT: AND TO ZION, LET NOT THINE HANDS BE SLACK.
  • 17 THE LORD THY GOD IN THE MIDST OF THEE IS MIGHTY; HE WILL SAVE, HE WILL REJOICE OVER THEE WITH JOY; HE WILL REST IN HIS LOVE, HE WILL JOY OVER THEE WITH SINGING.
  • 18 I WILL GATHER THEM THAT ARE SORROWFUL FOR THE SOLEMN ASSEMBLY, WHO ARE OF THEE, TO WHOM THE REPROACH OF IT WAS A BURDEN.
  • 19 BEHOLD, AT THAT TIME I WILL UNDO ALL THAT AFFLICT THEE: AND I WILL SAVE HER THAT HALTETH, AND GATHER HER THAT WAS DRIVEN OUT; AND I WILL GET THEM PRAISE AND FAME IN EVERY LAND WHERE THEY HAVE BEEN PUT TO SHAME.
  • 20 AT THAT TIME WILL I BRING YOU AGAIN, EVEN IN THE TIME THAT I GATHER YOU: FOR I WILL MAKE YOU A NAME AND A PRAISE AMONG ALL PEOPLE OF THE EARTH, WHEN I TURN BACK YOUR CAPTIVITY BEFORE YOUR EYES, SAITH THE LORD.
  • PRAYER FOR RAIN

EZEK.22: 23-31

  • AND THE WORD OF THE LORD CAME UNTO ME, SAYING,
  • 24 SON OF MAN, SAY UNTO HER, THOU ART THE LAND THAT IS NOT CLEANSED, NOR RAINED UPON IN THE DAY OF INDIGNATION.
  • 25 THERE IS A CONSPIRACY OF HER PROPHETS IN THE MIDST THEREOF, LIKE A ROARING LION RAVENING THE PREY; THEY HAVE DEVOURED SOULS; THEY HAVE TAKEN THE TREASURE AND PRECIOUS THINGS; THEY HAVE MADE HER MANY WIDOWS IN THE MIDST THEREOF.
  • 26 HER PRIESTS HAVE VIOLATED MY LAW, AND HAVE PROFANED MINE HOLY THINGS: THEY HAVE PUT NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE HOLY AND PROFANE, NEITHER HAVE THEY SHEWED DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE UNCLEAN AND THE CLEAN, AND HAVE HID THEIR EYES FROM MY SABBATHS, AND I AM PROFANED AMONG THEM.
  • 27 HER PRINCES IN THE MIDST THEREOF ARE LIKE WOLVES RAVENING THE PREY, TO SHED BLOOD, AND TO DESTROY SOULS, TO GET DISHONEST GAIN.
  • 28 AND HER PROPHETS HAVE DAUBED THEM WITH UNTEMPERED MORTER, SEEING VANITY, AND DIVINING LIES UNTO THEM, SAYING, THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD, WHEN THE LORD HATH NOT SPOKEN.
  • 29 THE PEOPLE OF THE LAND HAVE USED OPPRESSION, AND EXERCISED ROBBERY, AND HAVE VEXED THE POOR AND NEEDY: YEA, THEY HAVE OPPRESSED THE STRANGER WRONGFULLY.
  • 30 AND I SOUGHT FOR A MAN AMONG THEM, THAT SHOULD MAKE UP THE HEDGE, AND STAND IN THE GAP BEFORE ME FOR THE LAND, THAT I SHOULD NOT DESTROY IT: BUT I FOUND NONE.
  • 31 THEREFORE HAVE I POURED OUT MINE INDIGNATION UPON THEM; I HAVE CONSUMED THEM WITH THE FIRE OF MY WRATH: THEIR OWN WAY HAVE I RECOMPENSED UPON THEIR HEADS, SAITH THE LORD GOD.
  • 2CHRN 7 :12-16
  • AND THE LORD APPEARED TO SOLOMON BY NIGHT, AND SAID UNTO HIM, I HAVE HEARD THY PRAYER, AND HAVE CHOSEN THIS PLACE TO MYSELF FOR AN HOUSE OF SACRIFICE.
  • 13  IF I SHUT UP HEAVEN THAT THERE BE NO RAIN, OR IF I COMMAND THE LOCUSTS TO DEVOUR THE LAND, OR IF I SEND PESTILENCE AMONG MY PEOPLE;
  • 14  IF MY PEOPLE, WHICH ARE CALLED BY MY NAME, SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES, AND PRAY, AND SEEK MY FACE, AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, AND WILL FORGIVE THEIR SIN, AND WILL HEAL THEIR LAND.
  • 15 NOW MINE EYES SHALL BE OPEN, AND MINE EARS ATTENT UNTO THE PRAYER THAT IS MADE IN THIS PLACE.
  • 16 FOR NOW HAVE I CHOSEN AND SANCTIFIED THIS HOUSE, THAT MY NAME MAY BE THERE FOR EVER: AND MINE EYES AND MINE HEART SHALL BE THERE PERPETUALLY.
  • ZECH 10:1-2
  • ASK YE OF THE LORD RAIN IN THE TIME OF THE LATTER RAIN; SO THE LORD SHALL MAKE BRIGHT CLOUDS, AND GIVE THEM SHOWERS OF RAIN, TO EVERY ONE GRASS IN THE FIELD.
  • 2  FOR THE IDOLS HAVE SPOKEN VANITY, AND THE DIVINERS HAVE SEEN A LIE, AND HAVE TOLD FALSE DREAMS; THEY COMFORT IN VAIN: THEREFORE THEY WENT THEIR WAY AS A FLOCK, THEY WERE TROUBLED, BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SHEPHERD.

EZEKIEL 34:24-30

  • AND I THE LORD WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND MY SERVANT DAVID A PRINCE AMONG THEM; I THE LORD HAVE SPOKEN IT.
  • 25 AND I WILL MAKE WITH THEM A COVENANT OF PEACE, AND WILL CAUSE THE EVIL BEASTS TO CEASE OUT OF THE LAND: AND THEY SHALL DWELL SAFELY IN THE WILDERNESS, AND SLEEP IN THE WOODS.
  • 26 AND I WILL MAKE THEM AND THE PLACES ROUND ABOUT MY HILL A BLESSING; AND I WILL CAUSE THE SHOWER TO COME DOWN IN HIS SEASON; THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSING.
  • 27  AND THE TREE OF THE FIELD SHALL YIELD HER FRUIT, AND THE EARTH SHALL YIELD HER INCREASE, AND THEY SHALL BE SAFE IN THEIR LAND, AND SHALL KNOW THAT I AM THE LORD, WHEN I HAVE BROKEN THE BANDS OF THEIR YOKE, AND DELIVERED THEM OUT OF THE HAND OF THOSE THAT SERVED THEMSELVES OF THEM.
  • 28 AND THEY SHALL NO MORE BE A PREY TO THE HEATHEN, NEITHER SHALL THE BEAST OF THE LAND DEVOUR THEM; BUT THEY SHALL DWELL SAFELY, AND NONE SHALL MAKE THEM AFRAID.
  • 29 AND I WILL RAISE UP FOR THEM A PLANT OF RENOWN, AND THEY SHALL BE NO MORE CONSUMED WITH HUNGER IN THE LAND, NEITHER BEAR THE SHAME OF THE HEATHEN ANY MORE.
  • 30 THUS SHALL THEY KNOW THAT I THE LORD THEIR GOD AM WITH THEM, AND THAT THEY, EVEN THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL, ARE MY PEOPLE, SAITH THE LORD GOD.
  • 31 AND YE MY FLOCK, THE FLOCK OF MY PASTURE, ARE MEN, AND I AM YOUR GOD, SAITH THE LORD GOD.

PSALM 65

  • PRAISE WAITETH FOR THEE, O GOD, IN SION: AND UNTO THEE SHALL THE VOW BE PERFORMED.
  • 2 O THOU THAT HEAREST PRAYER, UNTO THEE SHALL ALL FLESH COME.
  • 3 INIQUITIES PREVAIL AGAINST ME: AS FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, THOU SHALT PURGE THEM AWAY.
  • 4 BLESSED IS THE MAN WHOM THOU CHOOSEST, AND CAUSEST TO APPROACH UNTO THEE, THAT HE MAY DWELL IN THY COURTS: WE SHALL BE SATISFIED WITH THE GOODNESS OF THY HOUSE, EVEN OF THY HOLY TEMPLE.
  • 5  BY TERRIBLE THINGS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS WILT THOU ANSWER US, O GOD OF OUR SALVATION; WHO ART THE CONFIDENCE OF ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH, AND OF THEM THAT ARE AFAR OFF UPON THE SEA:
  • 6 ¶  WHICH BY HIS STRENGTH SETTETH FAST THE MOUNTAINS; BEING GIRDED WITH POWER:
  • 7 WHICH STILLETH THE NOISE OF THE SEAS, THE NOISE OF THEIR WAVES, AND THE TUMULT OF THE PEOPLE.
  • 8 THEY ALSO THAT DWELL IN THE UTTERMOST PARTS ARE AFRAID AT THY TOKENS: THOU MAKEST THE OUTGOINGS OF THE MORNING AND EVENING TO REJOICE.
  • 9 THOU VISITEST THE EARTH, AND WATEREST IT: THOU GREATLY ENRICHEST IT WITH THE RIVER OF GOD, WHICH IS FULL OF WATER: THOU PREPAREST THEM CORN, WHEN THOU HAST SO PROVIDED FOR IT.
  • 10 THOU WATEREST THE RIDGES THEREOF ABUNDANTLY: THOU SETTLEST THE FURROWS THEREOF: THOU MAKEST IT SOFT WITH SHOWERS: THOU BLESSEST THE SPRINGING THEREOF.
  • 11 THOU CROWNEST THE YEAR WITH THY GOODNESS; AND THY PATHS DROP FATNESS.
  • 12 THEY DROP UPON THE PASTURES OF THE WILDERNESS: AND THE LITTLE HILLS REJOICE ON EVERY SIDE.
  • 13 THE PASTURES ARE CLOTHED WITH FLOCKS; THE VALLEYS ALSO ARE COVERED OVER WITH CORN; THEY SHOUT FOR JOY, THEY ALSO SING.
