Salutation: Acts 11 vs 26
Romans 15 vs 4
Sunday Service by Pastor Asser
- Hebrews 4 vs 1-11
Mark 4 vs 35 – 41
- To have peace is better than having all the riches in the world, some divorced having being the richest people in the world
- Some having being the most beautiful people in the world committed suicide
- Peter tried to manager the storm with he’s fishing skills expertise and though he could do it but he didn’t know that the solution was to speak peace to the bad situation.
- Sometimes we want to use or experiences and expertise against the storms of life
- I don’t know why it takes so long to turn to God
- Nothing in the storm had disturbed Jesus, no amount of thunder, lightning, heavy rain, wind, waves, movement of the ship could have disturbed him.
- Jesus was lying on a pillow – very comfortable
- God is so particular to our voices that when Peter cried out the Lord arose from the sleep not because of the storm but because of Peter’s voice. The Lord did hear the sound of the hurricane. That is the Lord that we serve
- Storms like
- loosing your job,
- being divorced,
- COVID-19,
- my rent is due and I don’t have a cent,
- my mother is in hospital sick
- And we ask the Lord that cares though that we perish? Sometimes we act angry towards God and say Lord how can you just lie down there and sleep
- There is Peace when you have Jesus on the boat. It doesn’t mean that storms wont come because Jesus is on the boat, they will come but call on Jesus to speak to the storms in your life
- Jesus will cause a rapid and quiet end to the storm
- I leave you something that money cannot buy, that beauty can not buy,
Philippians 4:7 >> And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Romans 16: 20 >> And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
- Jonah 1 vs 1 – 17 >> Jonah sleeping in the boat
- Acts 16 vs 16 – 26 >> Paul and Silas in Prison
- Acts 12 vs 1 – 10 >> Peter guided by soldiers in prison
- Matthew 15 vs 21-26 >> The Canaan woman that Jesus spoke to and said dogs don’t eat the food of the children
- 2 Kings 4 vs 18 – 26 >> The great Shunamite woman that said it is well
- Luke 8 vs 26 – 35 >> Legion
- Matthew 17 vs 14-18>> the boy tormented by the demon
